SPEAKER BIO
Professor Dan Brockman is Professor in Small Animal Surgery and Director of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Royal Veterinary College (UK). He is a recognised RCVS, American (ACVS), and European (ECVS) Specialist in Small Animal Surgery.
After graduating from the University of Liverpool in 1987, he completed surgical training and held academic positions at both the University of Liverpool and the University of Pennsylvania before joining the Royal Veterinary College, where he was awarded a Chair in 2007 and later served as Head of the Department of Clinical Science and Services.
Professor Brockman leads the Cardiothoracic Surgery Programme at the RVC, with clinical and research interests focused on congenital and acquired cardiac disease, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, reconstructive surgery, and advanced soft tissue procedures. He is an internationally invited speaker and actively delivers continuing professional development worldwide.
