PROF. DR. HABİB MURUZ

Prof. Dr. Habip MURUZ is Professor of Animal Nutrition and Nutritional Diseases at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ondokuz Mayıs University.

He was born in 1970 in Trabzon, Türkiye, and graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. He completed his PhD in Animal Nutrition at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Institute of Health Sciences in 1999.

In addition to his academic career, Prof. Muruz has held administrative and managerial roles within governmental institutions for six years, contributing to the implementation of agricultural policies, coordination of regional development projects, and management processes at different levels.

He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2020 and was appointed as Professor in 2026 at Ondokuz Mayıs University.

His academic and clinical interests focus on ruminant nutrition, companion animal nutrition (cats and dogs), and nutrition-related diseases. He continues his academic and scientific work actively in these fields.
