PINPOINT DIAGNOSIS: ULTRASOUND-GUIDED BIOPSY TECHNIQUES

Accurate diagnosis begins with accurate sampling. Particularly in abdominal and soft tissue lesions, ultrasound-guided biopsy techniques play a critical role in clinical decision-making by providing high diagnostic accuracy through a minimally invasive approach.

This workshop will provide a step-by-step overview of ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration (FNA) and Tru-Cut biopsy techniques in small animals. Participants will gain practical experience in lesion selection, appropriate sampling techniques, prevention of complications, and methods to maximize the diagnostic value of collected samples.

Through an interactive format that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, the workshop will be built around real clinical scenarios, encouraging active participation and discussion.
