She was born in 1970 in Izmir. She graduated from Izmir American College for Girls and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ankara University (Bachelor and Doctorate).
She has been working in Internal Medicine Department of Veterinary Faculty, Ondokuz Mayıs University since 2004.
Her special interests are Cardiology, Metabolism and Veterinary psychiatry. She has always been pet friendly since childhood.
