ASSOC. PROF. DR. ZEKİ DEVECİ

Associate Professor M. Zeki Deveci graduated from Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 and began his academic career as a research assistant in the Department of Surgery at Hatay Mustafa Kemal University. He completed his PhD through a joint program between Hatay Mustafa Kemal University and Fırat University in 2018.

Following his doctoral training, he was appointed as Assistant Professor in 2019 and later achieved the title of Associate Professor in 2023. He has also participated in international academic activities, including clinical surgical training at the University of Turin and the University of Parma in Italy, as well as a one-year research program at the University of Florida Small Animal Hospital and 3D Laboratory between 2022 and 2023.

His main areas of interest include small animal orthopedics and traumatology, 3D printing technologies, biomaterials, oncologic surgery, neurosurgery, and soft tissue surgery. His work has been recognized internationally, receiving awards such as Best Small Animal Research Presentation and Best Clinical Poster at the Veterinary Orthopedic Conference in the United States.

Dr. Deveci has authored over 40 international publications, multiple book chapters, and numerous conference presentations. He is also the founder of VetChange and Vet3B initiatives and actively contributes to veterinary education, consultancy, and professional development.
