Levent Aydın

Prof. Dr. Levent AYDIN was born in Aydın province in 1966. He completed the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Uludag University in 1988 and his PhD thesis on "Tick Species and Distribution in  Ruminants of the Southern Marmara Region" and received his doctoral title in 1994. Prof.Aydın has worked about Tick epidemiology, species diagnosis and seasonal activities are associated with tick-borne diseases and other subject( Anaplamosis, Neosporosis and Ectoparasites ruminants). Especially field studies and parasitic drug applications are covered by special studies. From 2005 to 2008, he was the Deputy Vice Dean of the Faculty. He became Professor in 2006, he has been the head of Parasitology Department of Uludag University Veterinary Faculty since 2014 and United Nations FAO as an Advisor and Expert since 2017. He has 95 national and international research articles and 33 book chapters.
